-Review Fuel Requirements for IFR flight
--When flying IFR, you must carry sufficient fuel to fly to the
first airport of intended landing, fly to the alternate airport
(if required), and then fly for 45 minutes at normal cruising
speed.
--An alternate is not required if the destination airport has:
---At least one approved instrument approach (IAP), and
---From 1 hour before to 1 hour after the ETA, a forecast of
at least (1) 2,000 ft. ceiling, and (2) 3 SM visibility.
-Discuss Lesson Objectives &
Answer Student Pilot's Questions
-Listen, Take Notes, and Ask Questions
-Review Reference Material
-The student should have the
ability to explain IFR fuel requirements.
